Manchester United secured a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory over West Ham United at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Saïd Benrahma shocked the visitors with a 30th-minute opener to leave United trailing by 1-0.
However, Cristiano Ronaldo restored parity five minutes later before Jesse Lingard scored a worldie against his former side in the 89th minute to give the visitors the lead.
Things went awry for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men in added time as Luke Shaw’s handball in the box led to a penalty after the VAR advised the referee to check the pitch-side monitor.
Ex-United manager, David Moyes, introduced Mark Noble into the game to take the penalty but David De Gea saved the spot-kick (90+5′) to seal the 2-1 win for United.
More to come…
