Days after losing his newborn baby boy, Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to training with Manchester United, according to UK Metro.
The 37-year-old who missed last night's 4-0 mauling at the hands of Liverpool was spotted at United’s training ground on Wednesday afternoon.
Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodriguez, this week shared the sad news of the death of one of their newborn twins at birth, while the daughter survived.
Following the sad occurrence, the Portuguese was granted compassionate leave, making up for his absence at Anfield on Tuesday evening.
Although he was absent, Ronaldo was honoured with emotional minute applause by both Liverpool and Man United fans in the seventh minute of the game.
However, despite returning to training on Wednesday, it is unknown whether has not been confirmed whether he would be part of Ralf Ragnick's side to face Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday,
Ronaldo who need a hattrick against Norwich last Saturday has scored 15 Premier League goals this season.
