Ferguson reacts as United fans desert Old Trafford during Liverpool hammer
Manchester United legendary coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, was spotted shaking his head in disgust as he watched Liverpool rip his old side apart,
A number of frustrated fans have also abandoned Old Trafford before the end of the humiliating clash against Liverpool.
The Red Devils were thumped 5-0 before the hour mark leaving fans wondering if the manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, still has the wheel going in the right direction.
Goals from Naby Keïta (5′), Diogo Jota (13′) and a Salah hattrick (38′, 45+5′, 50′) gave Liverpool a perfect victory over their bitter rival.
Mohamed Salah became the first away player to score a hat-trick at Old Trafford for over 18 years, since Ronaldo did so for Real Madrid back in April 2003 in the Champions League.
Five minutes after Salah completed his hattrick, substitute, Paul Pogba was sent off for a challenge on Naby Keita.
Unable to bear the humiliation, about scores of fans stormed out in fury around the 65th minute as Liverpool continue the training session at Old Trafford.
“Ole must stay” and “Ole’s at the wheel”, Liverpool fans could be heard chanting at Old Trafford, according to popular journalist, Fabrizio Romano.
