Nigeria’s Efe Ajagba has suffered his first professional boxing defeat to Frank Sanchez in Nevada on Sunday morning.

The fight between the potential future heavyweight champions is on the undercard of the Tyson Fury versus Deontay Wilder title fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Sanchez who came into the fight with a perfect (18-0, 13 knockouts) fight record and his NABO and WBC Continental America Titles on the line claimed victory via unanimous decision after 10rounds.

Ajagba who had a 15-0 record (12 knockouts) failed to bring his spark leaving the Cuban pugilist with little to sweat over.

After bossing Ajagba through the first six rounds, the experienced Cuban escaped a penalty for hitting the Nigerian while his knee was on the ground for a seventh-round knockdown.

The fight continued into the tenth round but Ajagba failed to deliver a devastating punch that would have swayed the fight in his favour.
