Italy and Juventus legend, Fabio Cannavaro, has sounded a note of warning to Serie A teams as he revealed how deadly Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, can be.
The former Ballon d’Or winner made the revelation as he insisted that the current league leaders have what it takes to win the Scudetto.
Speaking to Tribal Football, Cannavaro who led Italy to the 2006 World Cup triumph said, “Napoli are solid, they can win the Scudetto. But beware of the two sides from Milan.
“Spalletti’s team looks like a wall at times and have different solutions. [Victor] Osimhen was thought to be a crazy horse, but in the box, he knows how to hurt the opponents.
“Never rule out Juventus, they know how to manage the difficult moments and will be able to return.”
Osimhen has been vital for Spalleti's side since he bounced back from a disappointing start to the season with a red card in their first game for violent conduct against Daan Heymans of Venezia.
The Nigerian returned with a bang, scoring seven goals in all competitions throughout the month of September.
Four of those were registered in the Serie A, earning him the league's Player of the Month award.
