The Chief Executive Officer of Air Peace, Allen Onyema, has promised the Super Eagles players the sum of N20m to beat Cape Verde.
WuzupNigeria reported that the Eagles would face the Blue Sharks of Cape Verde on Tuesday for their second Group C World Cup qualifying match.
Addressing the footballers before their Air Peace flight took off for the Cesária Évora International Airport, Sao Vincente, Cape Verde, Onyeama remind the players of Nigeria's potentials.
Onyeama however urged them to ensure they win the match for the unity of Nigeria.
He also added that he "almost shed tears" on Saturday when northerner, Ahmed Musa, was introduced in the 2-0 win over Liberia.
"Majority of the spectators at the stadium in Lagos were made up of Southern Nigerians.
"When the name Ahmed Musa came up who is from Kano State, the stadium roared for joy. What does that tell you, Nigerians, we love ourselves, just a few differences... We have no other place than this nation..."
In his parting note, Onyeama promised the footballers N20m on arrival if they come back home with three points.
"If you win the match, I'll bring the money cash and hand it over. The moment you land, you'll get that 20million naira waiting for you."
The airline CEO added that "I see this as a stepping stone to unify our nation."
