Manchester United were handed their first defeat of the season by Aston Villa who claimed a shocking victory Old Trafford.
The Villans were coming off a commanding 3-0 victory over Everton and Dean Smith's men were more threatening in the first 45 minutes at Old Trafford.
Villa kept knocking and got clear chances, including a miscommunication between David De Gea and captain Harry Maguire, but failed to convert before Paul Pogba came close with a header before the break.
Meanwhile, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side who lost 1-0 at home on Wednesday against West Ham in the Carabao Cup were not entirely convincing againt Villa.
Both sides remained inseparable until 88 minutes when Kortney Hause found the back of the net with a late header.
Hause moved from hero to villain in snap by handling Edinson Cavani's header to give United a lifeline with a late penalty.
However, regular taker, Bruno Fernandes blasted to ball into the stands, allowing the visitors take all three points.
Aston Villa have now won at Old Trafford for the first time since a 1-0 win in December 2009, their first in their last 18 meetings.
