A group of youths were photographed sweeping and washing the streets of Yobe State after President Muhammadu Buhari’s condolence visit to the state.
This was made known in the pictures that emerged on social media a few minutes ago.
The sweeping and washing of streets were carried out to symbolically cast off the alleged ‘bad omen’ brought to the state by Buhari.
Recall that the president visited the state on Wednesday, March 14, as part of his condolence visits to states affected by Fulani herdsmen attacks and other forms of terror.
The president during the visit met with parents of the abducted Dapchi schoolgirls, traditional rulers as well as community leaders and stakeholders.
The residents came out with brooms, water and detergent to wash off the president’s alleged bad spell, immediately after his departure.
