Spending your hard-earned money on your girlfriend is a waste, Reno Omokri says
Former presidential aide, Reno Omokri has advised single men to desist from spending their hard-earned money on their girlfriends.
Omokri made this know to his followers on Twitter via his timely #RenosNuggests on Thursday evening.
Addressing the men, Reno suggested an alternative to spending on their girlfriends by advising them to spend their money on orphans or their wives.
“Dear single men, If you want to show your generosity, adopt an orphan, instead of spending your hard-earned cash maintaining girlfriends. God will bless you for what you do for orphans or your wife, but everything you do for your girlfriend is a WASTE.”
The tweet, as expected, drew the attention of women and one disgruntled follower did not hesitate to give Omokri her candid opinion.
The user – @PatraPatience said, “…when you were once a single man how many orphans did you adopt?? This your nonsense motivational quote is crossing boundaries. You don’t normally talk about what concerns you anymore. Stop saying what u didn’t do and what you can’t even do at this ur old age. Rubbish.”
Omokri however, gave a cheeky response to Patience by apologizing for spoiling her business and advised her to work on other parts of her body “rather than the middle part”
“Dear @PatraPatience, I did not mean to spoil your business. Truth is very painful, and I sympathise with the pain you are going through. Try to work with other parts of your body, rather than the middle part, and you will be less agitated by my words.”
