Controversial Entertainer Darlington Okoye, known as Speed Darlington, is under investigation following a video that surfaced on his Instagram account where he allegedly confessed to defiling a 15-year-old girl.
In the video, recorded in Igbo language, Darlington narrated an incident he claimed took place at an unnamed hotel. He described how the girl was left bleeding after the sexual encounter and stated that he paid hotel staff โฆ2,000 to change the bedsheets.

The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency has responded to the viral clip, issuing an official statement acknowledging the allegations.
“The Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Agency is aware of the disturbing video currently circulating online, in which a popular entertainer allegedly admits to engaging in unlawful sexual activity with a minor,” the agency stated.
The DSVA noted jurisdictional limitations due to the unspecified location of the alleged incident.
“While the individual in question did not specify the location of the incident during the Instagram Live session, we must clarify that the DSVA’s jurisdiction is limited to Lagos State,” the agency said in its statement on X.
The agency has escalated the matter to federal authorities. “In view of the above, and in line with our commitment to justice, we have escalated the situation to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons,” the DSVA added.
In a follow-up statement, the DSVA clarified: “While we are deeply concerned by the content of the video, we must clarify that the DSVA operates strictly within the boundaries of Lagos State.”
The agency confirmed the referral to NAPTIP. “We have referred this matter to @naptipnigeria for further investigation and action. Protecting the dignity and safety of every Nigerian child remains a priority.”
