Nigerian rapper and content creator Darlinton Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington or Akpi, has revealed how he dismissed a handyman and opted to install barbed wire around his fence by himself after being asked to pay ₦100,000 for the job.

“I asked someone to install barbwire on my fence, and he quoted ₦100,000. I told him not to worry about it, I’ll handle and install it myself,” Speed Darlington said while recounting the incident.

He explained that he decided to take on the task personally because he felt the quoted amount was excessive.

Meanwhile, construction is still ongoing at his mansion in his village in eastern Nigeria.

The rapper added that he plans to name the property “Pride Mansion,” noting that the building will have more than 18 rooms.
