Controversial rapper Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington, has responded to comments made by fellow artist CDQ, who recently stated he would never collaborate with Darlington — not even for $100 billion.
The drama unfolded after CDQ made the remark during an appearance on the Echoo Room podcast hosted by Teddy A.
When asked if there was any artist he would never consider working with, CDQ mentioned Speed Darlington without hesitation, insisting that no sum of money could sway his decision.
In a live session with fans, Speed Darlington fired back, brushing off the comment and claiming he has no idea who CDQ is. He went on to ridicule CDQ’s fame and financial standing, questioning the rapper’s significance in the music scene.
“CDQ just mentioned your name. Enough! I don’t know who he is. He is not worthy of me knowing him. If I don’t know you, you are a zero. Give it up for QDT,” he said during the session.
Mocking CDQ further, Darlington implied that his rival has never had access to serious money and should not be taken seriously.
“How does that sound. A poor man who has not touched N50 million. You don’t respect me,” he added, laughing off the entire issue.
