Speed Darlington allegedly survives gunshot in Lagos

Controversial Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington, has announced that he survived a gunshot attack while leaving a club in Lagos.

The singer fondly called Akpi, made this known in a post via his Instagram page on Monday.

Darlington claimed that a certain individual sent killers to him because there must be truth in what he has been saying.

The singer shared a video of his driver attesting to the gunshot and the policemen who witnessed the incident.

He captioned the video, “Long face send killers my way and I haven’t even post anything. Broooooo!! Is this necessary? You try to take my life 🙈 really?”

Meanwhile, the legal representative of Speed Darlington, Stan Alieke, has officially stepped down as his lawyer following the singer’s second release from prison

In a statement shared on his Instagram story, Stan Alieke, who heads the Law Capitol firm, announced his decision to withdraw from representing Speed Darlington.

He wrote, “I & my law firm (Law Capitol) has officially withdrawn from legally representing Mr. Darlington Achakpo PKA Speed Darlington/Akpi & henceforth ceases to act as his legal attorneys.”
