Sowore faults Tinubu’s appointment of Omokri as ambassador

Former presidential aspirant, Omoyele Sowore, has said President Bola Tinubu has inadvertently validated longstanding corruption allegations against himself by appointing Reno Omokri as an ambassador.

Sowore argued that Omokri had previously accused Tinubu of being involved in narcotics and labelled him a “drug dealer,” noting that the appointment raises questions about the president’s judgement.

His words, “Perhaps the clearest and most ironic admission that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a criminal comes from his Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu‘s own actions, specifically, the appointment of Reno Omokri as an ambassador.

“This is the same Reno Omokri who publicly described Tinubu as a drug lord and a criminal involved in narcotics. One could hardly ask for a more damning affirmation. And our firebrand attorney, Marshal D F Abubakar, was stating this in court uninhibited today as he applied for bail regarding the frivolous charge brought by lawless DSS today.

“When your chosen representative has already said the quiet part out loud, there is little left to debate. Chikena!”
