Empire Mates Entertainment boss, Banky W, and some celebrities have expressed sadness over the recent killing of 86 persons in the attacks on about 11 communities in the Gashish District, Plateau, by suspected Fulani herdsmen.
The celebrities took to their social media pages to share their thought on the incessant killings.
Reacting to the attack, Banky W wrote on his Twitter page,
“First it was Daniel the 3rd (RIP), now reading another heartbreaking massacre in Plateau state. So much death.
“I’m sad.. in my soul. Hard finding the right words to even pray. God help us.
“Just reading up on all the #JUSTICEFORJUNIOR tweets. My God. Reminds me of a quote.. Hell must be empty cuz all the demons and devils are here. This world has completely lost its way.
“So much death lately. So much death. My heart is heavy.”
Popular rapper, Olamide wrote, “My heart goes to the people of Plateau state.”
Gospel music artiste, Nathaniel Bassey wrote,
“The wickedness of the wicked MUST come to an end.
“We pray for Plateau State, we pray for comfort and strength for the families of the deceased.
“And we Pray, LET GOD ARISE, AND LET HIS ENEMIES BE SCATTERED.
“LET THE WICKEDNESS OF THE WICKED COME TO AN END. In Jesus’ name.”
Also, 2017 Big Brother Naija winner, Efe, wrote on his Instagram page wrote,
“The killings in Plateau State must stop, how can people go to bury their dead be killed too.
“How much can we endure, that’s how the “Dogon Nahawa” killings have been forgotten. 2019 is coming and we might repeat our mistakes again.
“I’m raging in anger right now. May God rest their souls.”
Recall that the Police Command in Plateau State had earlier on Sunday confirmed the attacks, saying it had only recovered 11 corpses from some of the villages.
But residents had insisted that about 200 people were killed by the marauding herdsmen.
