Hip-hop icon Snoop Dogg brought his signature style to the global stage once again, serving as an official torchbearer for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
The rapper carried the Olympic flame on Wednesday in Gallarate, Italy, dancing to his and Dr. Dre’s classic hit “The Next Episode” as he participated in the Milano Cortina 2026 torch relay.
The moment was shared by the official Olympics account, showcasing Snoop’s relaxed and joyous vibe while representing the United States abroad.
This marks Snoop Dogg’s second turn as an Olympic torchbearer. He previously carried the flame during the final leg of the 2024 Summer Olympics torch relay in Paris, near the Stade de France.
That 2024 appearance was hailed as a major moment for the hip-hop community, with fellow artist Flavor Flav predicting it would be remembered for years.
The uplifting performance comes just a week after a personal tragedy for the rapper’s family. His daughter, Cori Broadus, recently lost her newborn baby girl, Codi, after the child spent 10 months in a neonatal intensive care unit following a premature birth.
