Popular comedienne and skit maker, Mariam Apaokagi, known as Taaooma, has welcomed a baby girl with her partner, Abdulazeez Greene, popularly called Abula.
Taaooma shared the joyful news in a video post on Thursday, revealing her baby’s name as Amani Korede Makeda Greene. The post was captioned with the baby’s name and birth date, “7.11.24.”
Taaooma and Abula, who got engaged in February 2020 during a trip to Namibia, tied the knot on January 24, 2021.
Several celebrities and fans flooded her social media page to congratulate her on the new addition to their family.
Actress Nkechi Blessing commented, “Omg😩😍 big big congratulations Tao👏🏻👏🏻❤️💃🏻💃🏻,” while comedian Broda Shaggi wrote, “Congratulations😩🥹🤍.” Music star Falz also shared his excitement with a post of love emojis.
Taaooma gained fame through her comedy skits, which portray the unique parenting style of Nigerian mothers.
Her signature style includes her humorous depictions of African mothers’ sharp and exaggerated reactions to their children’s behavior, often delivered with a playful “slap.”
