British-Nigerian Singer, Joseph Adenuga, popularly known as Skepta, has been honoured with a chieftaincy title in Ogun State.
His chieftaincy title is “Amuludun of Odo Aje” which means the “Chief Entertainer of Ode Aje”
He shared a video of the event on his Instagram page and thanked the King of Ode Aje, the Baale’s and the chiefs for honouring him with a chieftaincy title. He also thanked his parents for supporting him.
He wrote,
“Thank you to the Baale, Chiefs of Odo Aje and King for presenting me with my Chieftaincy title today. I am honoured and will continue to put time and love into Nigeria, especially the community of Odo Aje.

Skepta, an award-winning English grime artiste was born in Tottenham, United Kingdom to Nigerian parents.
Amongst those who congratulated the 35-year-old rapper is his supermodel girlfriend, Naomi Campbell.
She shared a photo of him on her Instagram page and wrote,
“Congratulations Chief Joseph Olaitan Adenuga! ???? @skeptagram @greatnessdex #Greatness #celebration #chieftaincy.”
The artist also held a “Homecoming” concert at the Federal Palace hotel in Lagos State.
The event was graced with performances from Wizkid, Davido, etc.
The 47-year-old-model also joined Skepta at the Federal Palace hotel in Lagos.
