Six dead, others injured in Lagos-Ibadan Expressway Crash

At least six people died and many others were injured in a terrible accident involving an 18-seater commercial bus on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway on Saturday morning.

The accident caused a serious traffic jam, leaving many travellers stuck on the road for hours while emergency workers tried to rescue the victims and clear the wreckage.

As of the time of this report, rescue operations were still ongoing. Emergency teams were seen working hard to remove those trapped inside the vehicle and help the injured.

The cause of the accident is not yet clear, but witnesses say the crash was very serious and the bus was badly damaged.

Officials from the Federal Road Safety Corps and other emergency agencies arrived at the scene to assist with rescue efforts and to control traffic.
