Famed singer Anthony Victor, better known as Victony, recently opened up about his heartbreak experience during a podcast hosted by Chinasa Anukam.
He explained how his ex-girlfriend made him feel foolish and betrayed.
Victony shared that his ex-girlfriend had a secret relationship with another man. She lied to him, saying the other man was just a friend. This left Victony feeling hurt and deceived.
โShe [my ex-girlfriend] was talking to this other guy and I was aware. She was telling me about this other guy. Me, very open-minded, I was like, this guy was just her friend,” Victony said. “She told me he was her friend but his name just always came up. And I will be like, what kind of friend is this one?”
He added, โAt the end of the day, it turned out he was not her friend. That was very mad because when I realised everything that was going on, I felt very stupid.โ
Victony revealed that this heartbreak happened when he was still a teenager, making it even more painful and confusing.
