Singer Bruce Williams of The Temptations dies of Coronavirus

Singer Bruce Williamson of The Temptations has died of coronavirus at the age of 50. Williamson died on Sunday in his home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The news of his death was announced in a tribute shared by his son on social media.

“There are no words in the world that can express how I feel right now I love you Daddy. Thank you for being awesome. Thank you for being loving. Thank you for being who you are. I pray to God and we will meet again. I love you Daddy R.I.H King Williamson,” he wrote.

The Temptations was launched in Detroit in 1960 with Otis Williams, David Ruffin, Melvin Franklin, Paul Williams and Eddie Kendricks.

Bruce who became the lead singer of the band in 2006 once said that he did “more in six months of being a Temptation than many artists have done in a lifetime.”
