It was a big day at Rio for Simone Manuel on Saturday as she won gold in the swimming event of the Olympic.

The 20-year-old from USA became the first black female to win a gold medal in the women’s 100m swimming freestyle for the United State.
She gave way to tears of joy on this realisation.
