Karma caught up with a thief on Monday when he was left stuck for two days in a chimney at Thabiso Youth Centre, Zimbabwe by his gang members during a robbery.

According to a reports by Zimbabwe Chronicle, the accomplices of Andrea Zunga (33) of Makokoba who are still at large, managed to get in and out through one of the chimneys and got away with two desk top computers, a laptop and a jacket but he got stuck in the other chimney which is blocked at the bottom.

The accomplices on realising that Zunga was stuck in the chimney fled with their loot and did not tell anyone about the mishap.
During his rescue mission, police were there on time to save him from an angry mob before whisking him away.

Zunga is said to be on important medication after having come from South Africa on a stretcher, family members said.

“We’re worried he might relapse after defaulting for three days,” said his brother Trevor.

He was discovered when a cleaner at Thabiso Youth Centre heard a voice from the roof.

“Mayibabo ncedani, indlala, ngafa kubuhlungu. (Help, I’m starving, I’m dying”) rasped the croaky voice.

The cleaner fled to call people.
