Sheyi Ojo is excited to work with Steven Gerrard next season after joining Rangers on loan.
The 21-year-old will spend the upcoming campaign in the Scottish Premiership under the management of Reds legend Steven Gerrard.
Ojo spent the 2018-19 season on loan at Ligue 1 side Stade de Reims and has also had temporary spells with Wigan Athletic, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham.
The Liverpool winger said:
“When I heard Rangers were involved, I spoke to my representation, the gaffer Steven Gerrard and I spoke to Liverpool as well.
“I think all the parties just believe that this was the right destination for my career this season.
“When I’m playing myself, playing consistent and hopefully injury free, then everything sort of goes well. I just haven’t had that consistency.
“With Rangers this season, it’s just to play how I’ve always played – play freely and just enjoy my football.”
The winger has made 13 first-team appearances for Liverpool, scoring one goal.
