Sheamus’ tenure with WWE now appears to have come to an end, as his profile has been transferred to the Alumni section on the company’s official website.
The move is commonly interpreted as an indication that a performer is no longer part of the active roster, further reinforcing recent reports suggesting “The Celtic Warrior” has departed the promotion.
On Sunday, reports emerged indicating that Sheamus’ WWE contract was nearing expiration and that he opted to leave the organization after declining a revised contract offer.
While WWE has not issued an official public statement confirming the exit, the roster update has intensified speculation surrounding his status.
The veteran performer has been out of action since undergoing shoulder surgery in December.
His most recent match came on the November 17 edition of WWE RAW, where he teamed with John Cena and Rey Mysterio to secure a victory over The Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio, Finn Bálor, and JD McDonagh.
Having joined WWE in 2006, Sheamus built a decorated career spanning close to twenty years.
Over that period, he captured multiple championships including the WWE Championship, World Heavyweight Championship, and United States Championship, as well as both RAW and SmackDown Tag Team titles. His accolades also include wins in major WWE tournaments and events such as the Royal Rumble, Money in the Bank, and King of the Ring.
