Two teenagers, Sonia (16) and Benita (17), have been arrested for allegedly beating up their friend, Oyinkansola.
The suspects were alleged to have flogged the victim with canes and cut her with a razor blade after a disagreement.
Oyinkansola sustained injuries in her mouth, neck, hand and breasts.
Sonia and Benita reportedly confessed to beating up the 16-year-old but denied using a razor blade on her. They allegedly claimed using their fingernails.

The police were, however, said to have recovered the blade used to commit the crime.
The minors were arraigned before an Ogba Magistrates’ Court on two counts of assault.
The police prosecutor, Abiola Adewale, said the offence contravened sections 171 and 173 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015
The charge read,
“That you, Sonia and Benita, on September 18, 2018, on Yetunde Babarimisa Close, Iju, in the Ikeja Magisterial District, did unlawfully assault the victim by flogging her with canes.
The defendants pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The magistrate, Mrs F.F. George, granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties each in like sum. The case was adjourned till October 4, 2018.
