Nigerian actress, singer, philanthropist and former model, Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, has named Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) captive, Leah Sharibu, as her #wcw/woman crush Wednesday.

The beautiful actress, who has been very vocal about the return of Leah Sharibu to her parents, listed several reasons for her choice.

She described as a strong woman, a strong queen, at such a young age.

WuzupNaija recalls that Leah Sharibu remains the only schoolgirl of the 119 students abducted from Government Girls Secondary School, Dapchi, Yobe state still in ISWAP captivity.

ISWAP, a breakaway faction of Boko Haram,  did not release Sharibu over her refusal to convert to Islam.

However, in a recent audiotape released by her captors, Sharibu begged President Muhammadu Buhari and other well-meaning Nigerians to save her from captivity.

Many see the audio as proof of life, with President Muhammadu Buhari vowing that he would not rest until Leah Sharibu is free.

Speaking in Hausa Sharibu said,

“I am Leah Sharibu, the girl that was abducted in GGSS Dapchi. I am calling on the government and people of goodwill to intervene to get me out of my current situation,” she said.

“I also plead to the members of the public to help my mother, my father, my younger brother and relatives. Kindly help me out of my predicament. I am begging you to treat me with compassion, I am calling on the government, particularly, the president to pity me and get me out of this serious situation. Thank you.”
