Ghanaian Dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah also known as Shatta Wale, has made his first social media appearance after being granted bail following his remand in prison.
WuzupNigeria reported that Shatta Wale was remanded at the Ankaful Maximum Security Prison by an Accra Circuit Court for one week.
The sentence was however reversed by the court on Monday.
The singer was brought before the court after he turned himself in following his admission that he was wrong for staging a gun attack on Monday.
The prank he pulled which comes after a preacher, Jesus Ahuofe, prophesied that he will be shot dead by some unscrupulous people created unrest on social media.
However, at the Accra Circuit Court on Monday, after pleading not guilty, the court granted him a GH¢100,000 bail with two sureties.
He is expected to reappear before the court on November 9.
The singer, who reacted in a video posted on his social media account expressed appreciation to God and his fans, saying he was grateful for everything.
“We thank Allah for everything, we thank Allah for bringing me out. shout out everybody that has supported me and I want to say God is alive bro” he stated in the video
