Officers attached to Division B police station in Warri, Delta State have arrested a corps member (names withheld) for allegedly impregnating an eleven-year-old JSS 2 student at Nana College in the area.
Israel Joe, who shared the story on his Facebook wall, said the corps member was hired to carry out home lessons but ended up taking advantage of the minor and left her with pregnancy.
He said the minor is currently going through the pain of abuse and molestation in the neighbourhood. He added that the suspect is currently in police custody.
Joe further stated that a notification has been sent to the National Youth Service Corps secretariat in the state to notify the coordinator of the matter because the suspect will soon be charged to court.
