Singer Peter Okoye of Psquare has said that wealthy people do not allow shame to stop them from pursuing opportunities.
In a post shared on his Twitter page, the award-winning artiste posted a photo of himself with billionaire Aliko Dangote and an old photo from his early days. He used the images to make a point about the mindset of successful people.
“Ever seen a rich man with shame? Never. Shame keeps the broke broke. The rich don’t care how they look chasing opportunity; they just go for it. Everything you dream of sits on the far side of shame. Be shameless and go get it,” he wrote.
Okoye added that he is currently on tour and is “shamelessly shaming his shame.”
In May, the singer had shared photos of himself and Dangote at a private dinner in Lagos, saying he flew back to Nigeria just for the meeting.
Peter also wrote an emotional note to his younger self, advising him to trust less, believe more in himself, and remember that loyalty defines true family.
Recently, he also shared a message about toxic family relationships, saying people should not stay silent because of family ties. “I did that for over 20 years, and it cost me everything,” he wrote, adding that “love doesn’t manipulate, loyalty doesn’t betray, and family doesn’t steal from you.”
