Reports reaching us indicates that Cross Rivers State Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Mr. Peter Egba, reportedly engaged in a feast exchange with a Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) official after his wife’s driver violated the agency’s rules.

This was made public in the pictures and posts shared on the Facebook page of Ekpo Esito Nse minutes ago.

It was reported that the scuffle started after the Commissioner’s wife driver was caught driving with a fake government number plate, without a driver’s license as well as seat belt.

The unnamed driver was driving the Commissioner’s wife and children to school when the vehicle was impounded for violation of road safety rules.

The Commissioner’s wife reportedly called her husband who came to the scene and ordered the driver to beat the road safety official.

Though the Commissioner had denied the incident, the issue is currently in mobile court.
