Friends of Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, have launched a one million Holy Bible distribution project across Nigeria to mark his 40th birthday.

The project was unveiled on Sunday during a thanksgiving service at the National Christian Centre, Abuja, and simultaneously in about 40 churches across the country.

The initiative, coordinated by Hon. Belusochukwu Enwere, National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN), aims to promote moral renewal, ethical leadership, and Christian values among Nigerian youths.

Enwere said the gesture was not just a birthday celebration but a spiritual effort to promote moral transformation in the country.

“The one million Bible project is a gift to the body of Christ and a seed for moral transformation. Through this effort, we hope to restore integrity, compassion, and love for humanity among young Nigerians. Seyi Tinubu’s life has exemplified these virtues, and we believe this gesture will inspire others to live with purpose,” he said.

The Bibles will be distributed through churches, schools, and youth groups across all states in the coming weeks.

The thanksgiving service featured prayers, songs, and messages of hope for the nation. The Chaplain of the National Christian Centre, Rev. Ini Ukpuho, who officiated the service, led special prayers for the Tinubu family and the country.

In a goodwill message read on his behalf, Seyi Tinubu expressed gratitude to the organisers and participants, describing the project as a reminder of the importance of faith in building character and promoting unity.

He said, “I am deeply honoured by this act of love and faith. The Bible remains the most powerful tool for shaping lives and communities. Through God’s word, we can build a nation rooted in compassion, discipline, and purpose.”

Among the dignitaries present were APC National Youth Leader Dayo Israel, Director-General of SMEDAN Charles Odii, former YOWICAN Secretary Ambassador Solomon Omaivboje, Seyi Tinubu’s protocol officer Emma Bawa, and the FCT Secretary of YOWICAN.

Clergymen from different denominations praised the project, saying it came at a time when the country needs renewed focus on moral values and godly leadership.
