Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has received N20 million from Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, days after she claimed to have been assaulted by some uniformed men while cooking for the less privileged.

The actress had earlier gone public with a video showing bruises on her hand, alleging that officers of the Kick Against Indiscipline (KAI) task force attacked her during a charity outreach in Lagos.

Sharing a new video on Instagram on Friday, Martins became emotional as she received a cheque from Seyi Tinubu. She thanked him for supporting her foundation and promised to expand her free food outreach.

“From disgrace to grace,” she wrote. “From the office of the President, our philanthropic youth leader Mr. Seyi Tinubu just supported my NGO with 20 million naira. He didn’t only give me 20 million but also promised to take my free food charity outreach to the next level.”

She also appreciated her friend, Dr. Bea, for facilitating the meeting and urged Nigerians to thank Seyi Tinubu for the gesture.

Earlier this month, Martins had received a N1 million donation from Cubana Chief Priest’s wife to support her charity work. She also said other well-meaning Nigerians had gifted her food items to keep her outreach running.
