According to official sources, the Argentinian woman was constantly moved around the country for the entire 32 years of her imprisonment and since then her family had even given up searching for her.
In 1987, a Bolivian man in his 50s kidnapped her together with her older sister, who was with her boyfriend and a baby of a few months old, reports say.
The older sister managed to escape back to Argentina three months later, but the victim was forced to work as a prostitute for more than three decades, it is reported.
The rescue operation was coordinated by the officers of the special force of the fight against crime in Bolivia after a tip-off about the location of the woman.
The woman and the boy were sent to the office of rescue and assistance of victims of human trafficking to the city of Salta and then travelled to the city of Mar del Plata, where they were reunited with her family.
