Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen, netted twice as Napoli temporarily move second on the Serie A standings, boosting their hopes of a Champions League qualification.
The Nigeria international bounced back from his head injury during the 1-1 draw against Cagliari five days ago to give Napoli the important win in what happened to be the first encounter between both teams in Liguria in Serie A.
The only precedent between the two teams in the top flight had been at the Azzurri home with Spezia handing Napoli a shocking 2-1 defeat in their backyard.

Osimhen proved influential for Gennaro Gattuso’s side by setting up Hirving Lozano for Napoli’s fourth goal in the 79th minute, sending them second on the log until Third-fifth-placed Atalanta, Juventus and AC Milan play their match week 35 games.
Juventus host AC Milan in Turing, while Atlanta go away to Parma fou their receive clashes on Sunday with the three teams tied on 69 points, one behind Osimhen’s Napoli with three matches left against Udinese, Fiorentina and Verona.
