Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, representing Kogi Central, has reacted to the recent social media outburst by actress Regina Daniels against her estranged husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

In a subtle response shared on Sunday, Akpoti-Uduaghan posted a red heart emoji “❤” and reposted one of Daniels’ Instagram photos with the same symbol — a gesture many interpreted as a show of support for the actress.

Daniels had earlier taken to Instagram to counter her husband’s claims, accusing him of misleading the public about the real issues affecting their marriage.

“Ned, how could you lie so openly and without even small remorse? You know my family has absolutely nothing to do with this. You have always tried to cut them off because of the bond we share, and now you are trying to make them look bad for no reason,” she wrote.

The actress further admitted to past drug use but alleged that Nwoko was exploiting the matter to manipulate and isolate her.

“Fine, I did drugs. So what? Is that even the issue between us? The moment we had a fight, you rushed to the public shouting drugs because you knew it would make a perfect story for the media,” Daniels stated.

She accused Nwoko of coercive behavior, claiming he once encouraged her drug use and attempted to alienate her from her loved ones. Daniels further alleged that he confined her, seized her phones, and instructed doctors to administer medication meant for bipolar disorder without her consent.

Her reaction followed Nwoko’s public allegation that her brothers, Sammy and Lawrence, were responsible for introducing her to narcotics.

Senator Akpoti-Uduaghan’s show of empathy toward Daniels comes months after she herself made headlines for accusing Senate President Godswill Akpabio of making unwanted advances — an allegation he later denied.
