The lawmaker representing Bayelsa East Senatorial District in the Nigerian Senate, Sen. Ben Murray-Bruce on Friday attended the ongoing 13th Abuja International Film Festival.
The Senator was at the festival along with the Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed as well as Fidelis Duker, the Director of the international film festival.
After attending the event, the chairman of Silverbird group took to his Twitter handle, @benmurraybruce, and tweeted, “At the Abuja film festival 2016. It is always a good thing when we gather to support our own.”

The Abuja International Film Festival, which is organised by NAFIFO Ventures Limited, started in 2004.
It is a platform where films, stars, producers within and outside Nigeria are showcased.
The festival is affiliated to the Durban International Film Festival, Dahlegona International Film Festival, Georgia International Film Festival, Commonwealth International Film Festival and other renowned Film Festivals.
