Bashir Ahmad, one of President Muhammadu Buhari’s aides, has shared a throwback picture of the Nigerian leader from 1976.
The President at the time, was the Federal Commissioner of Petroleum and Natural Resources, a position he held for three consecutive years.
His performance in the office was one of the many reasons Nigerians trooped out en masse in 2015 to ensure that he returns as Nigeria’s leader, a position he has held in the last one year.
Ahmad’s post was simply tagged: “Federal Commissioner of Petroleum and Natural Resources (1976 – 1978), Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR).”
