President Muhammadu Buhari, on Thursday, commissioned some newly acquired Nigerian Navy Ships in Victoria Island, Lagos.
This was made known in the pictures shared on the Facebook page of Mohammed Grema Adamu.
The President was received by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode at the presidential wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport just before noon.
President Buhari thereafter commissioned three war ships and 27 patrol boats at the Nigerian Naval Dockyard on the Lagos Island.
It was reported that one of the war ships commissioned was imported while the other two were locally built.
The President had among his entourage, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola and army chiefs as well as the Police.
