While conservationists worldwide are busy trying to save sea creatures and other wildlife from extinction, some people are busy working against such endeavour.
An example of how people are working against conservation of the environment was the brutal butchering recently of a whale that was stranded on Enu-Ama beach in Ilaje Local Government Area of Ondo state On Friday.
A twitter post about the event showed the bloodied body of the butchered creature.

Whales range in length from 12–16 m and weigh about 36,000 kg.
Some tweeps showed their displeasure at the killing, while some just expressed amazement at Nigerians’ appetite for exotic pepper soup.
