Edo State Governor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, on Sunday hosted some public figures as he honored his send-off ceremony from the Government House in Denis Osadebe Avenue, Benin City.
The ceremony had in attendance, Minister of Transport, Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, All Progressives Congress (APC) National Chairman, John Oyegun, state governors, party officials, among others.
Oshiomhole became the governor of Edo State in November 12, 2008 after winning his case of massive rigging at the court of appeal. He was re-elected for a second term in 2012, on the platform of the then Action Congress (AC).
Oshiomhole was formerly president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), and was prominent as the leader of a campaign of industrial action against high oil prices in Nigeria.
