The Head of the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Professor Aliyu Mani, reportedly died in the early morning explosion that rocked a mosque in the University of Maiduguri Campus.
Reports say the suicide bombers launched their attack at 6:30 a.m local time while students and staff were observing early dawn Fajr prayer.
The picture of the deceased Professor emerged on the internet few minutes ago.
