After Daily Trust apologised for libeling Ezekwesili, see who commented
The Daily Trust Newspaper recently apologised to former Minister for Education and leader of the Bring Back Our Girls movement, Oby Ezekwesili.
The newspaper apologised for the content of its story published on August 24th 2016. Though the newspaper had published an apology the day following the publication, it also sent an apology letter to the former minister.
The former Minister tweeted the letter on Monday, with a caption indicating that another newspaper, Nigerian Tribune, had also apologised to her within the same week.
“In just 1 week, I have had to accept two apologies from @nigeriantribune & @daily_trust for 2 libelous articles,” she tweeted with a copy of the letter attached.

In response to the tweet, former presidential aspirant and candidate of the KOWA party Remi Sonaiya, retweeted the letter with a note of encouragement to the co-founder of Transparency International.
“Means you’re having impact! Keep going. The Lord is your strength,” the only female presidential aspirant in the 2015 election tweeted.
