Nigeria Senate President, Bukola Saraki, on Friday, participated at the 1st Annual Chevening Alumni Leadership Summit tagged: #CheveningNGSummit.
This was made known on the Twitter handle of Bukola Saraki @bukolasaraki few hours ago with the caption: Had pleasure of addressing Alumni’s of #CheveningNGSummit I hope they will yield my call for best brains in all sector 2 help rescue Nigeria.
The Senate President while delivering his speech at the occasion which took place in Abuja, urged the illustrious members to keep working together to turn brain drain to brain gain and also strengthen ties between the UK and Nigeria.
Saraki stated that we must urgently begin to create a system that enables us to put our best brains and minds in positions that they can contribute effectively.
He further noted that we must also look at ways to get more intellectuals into government, either through front door or back door. He explained that, front door is through election while the back door is through appointments.
