Emmanuel Fabiyi, the goalkeeper of Gombe United, one of Nigerian professional football league side was injured after he conceded a last minute goal recently.
Fabiyi was mobbed by fans who accused him of selling the match after a 3-3 draw at home against Enugu Rangers on Wednesday.
He suffered injuries to his head, which needed stitches.
