S’Eagles Boniface survives car crash after scoring match-winning goal

Nigerian football star, Victor Boniface, narrowly escaped death after being involved in a serious car accident just hours after scoring the match-winning goal for Bayer Leverkusen in their 2-1 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Super Eagles striker had scored his fifth goal of the Bundesliga season in the 71st minute of the game.

Shortly after the match, Boniface shared images and videos of his damaged Mercedes Benz on his Instagram story, along with a message saying, “God says my time never reach.” This statement means that he believes it wasn’t yet his time to die. The images showed the front of his car badly damaged in the crash.

Boniface sustained a minor injury to his hand but is in stable condition and does not require further medical treatment.

The exact details of the crash are not yet known.

Despite facing criticism from fans and pundits for his performances with the Super Eagles, Boniface made a strong comeback with his decisive goal against Frankfurt, helping Leverkusen secure the win.

His fans and teammates are relieved that the striker only suffered minor injuries and are hopeful for his quick recovery and return to the field.
