SCOAN marks TB Joshua’s 58th posthumous birthday

The Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) on Saturday, June 12 marked the 58th posthumous birthday of its founder Prophet Temitope Joshua, aka TB Joshua.

The church, on his posthumous birthday, recalled the cleric’s words on how he wanted to celebrate his 58th birthday.

TB Joshua had appeared in a video posted on social media on Friday, June 4 where he addressed the public on the way he would celebrate his 58th birthday.

The preacher said many people would have loved to come to celebrate physically with him, but for the COVID-19 pandemic which has caused tremendous changes in the world system.

He, however, urged all to dedicate June 12, his birthday, to fasting, prayer, and supporting the needy, adding that there were more birthdays to celebrate by the grace of God.

Joshua died the day after the video was shared, he is said to have participated in a church programme that fateful day.

However, the church on Saturday, June 12, took an excerpt from Joshua’s speech in the video of June 4 to remind well-wishers of the clergyman’s desire.

“‘Let us dedicate this day (June 12th 2021) to prayer and fasting. Don’t forget the needy,’” its post on social media read.
