Senator Oluremi Tinubu has written the Inspector General of Police requesting for security protection from the lawmaker representing Kogi-West senatorial district, Senator Dino Melaye.
Tinubu, in a 5-Paragraph SOS letter to the IG, said in view of Senator Melaye’s antecedent particularly in the House of Representatives “where a brawl led by him had led to the untimely death of a member, I have decided not to ignore his threat to my life.”

Sen. Melaye has been trending on social media for few days after he reportedly verbally attacked the wife of former Lagos state governor during a heated argument in House of Assembly.
Melaye was reported to have threatened to beat and impregnate Sen. Tinubu and nothing would happen.
On Saturday the Kogi state lawmaker paid a visit to Lagos in an attempt to shame those who dared him to visit the state following his altercation with Sen. Tinubu.
