Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, Khalid bin Salman, said Friday that he held talks with Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, Asim Munir, focusing on regional security developments, including Iranian attacks targeting the kingdom.

“The meeting addressed the Iranian attacks on Saudi Arabia within the framework of the strategic defense cooperation agreement between the two countries,” bin Salman wrote on US social media company X.

He noted that discussions also focused on “ways to halt these attacks and strengthen defense cooperation between Riyadh and Islamabad.”

“Both sides discussed the importance of coordination to confront security challenges and preserve regional stability amid the ongoing military escalation,” he added.
