A 7- man delegation from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the weekend visited the Chief of the Air Staff, (CAS) Air Mshl Sadique Abubakar, at the Nigerian Air Force headquarters to seek partnership with Nigeria to fight terrorism.
This was made known in the pictures and post shared on the Facebook page of Nigerian Air Force HQ.
The delegation which was led by the Deputy Chief of Defence Intelligence, Maj Gen Yahya Ahmed Massiri, during the visit discussed areas of possible collaboration as part of the global efforts to stamp out insurgency and terrorism.
The delegation also commended the Chief of the Air Staff for the successes recorded so far in the fight against the Boko Haram insurgency.
Gen Massiri sought the opinion of the NAF leadership about new areas of strategic military partnership where his country could be of assistance to Nigeria.
The Chief of the Air Staff in his response, reiterated that training and intelligence sharing are very vital in combating terrorism.
